Event Series: Austens at the Abbey

You are invited to join Bath Abbey’s Learning team and new characters from the Natural Theatre Company for special days to celebrate the anniversary year of Jane Austen’s birth.
- Meet the Naturals and have fun discovering some of the larger-than-life characters who may have bumped into Jane and her family in Bath.
- A new display of fascinating connections between those commemorated in the Abbey and the Austen family
- Special tours will be available every hour throughout the day, revealing the memorials of the actor, singer, sailor and others who connected with the Austens.
- Fun crafts for families aged 4+, all with a Georgian theme. Free with admission or a Discovery Card.

Drop in and create a framed silhouette of your own profile or a self-portrait with plenty of stick-on features to turn you into Elizabeth Bennet or Mr Darcy!
