Bach’s Christmas Oratorio joyously proclaims the Christmas story and Bath Choral Society’s performance will open the Christmas celebrations at Bath Abbey. Rendered here in English, the performance will take us through the story of the Nativity, sharing in the intimacy of the sleeping child, the pastoral joy of the shepherds, the jubilant song of the angels and the majestic arrival of the Magi.
